The Gospel

If I had to summarize the Gospel, it would be Grace and FAITH.  (Ephesians 2;8) For it is by Grace you have been saved, through Faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.  OK, to break it down, God gives us His grace. Not because we deserve it or we earned it.  He loves us.  Thats the only way to explain it.  Even before we ask Jesus into our lives, God lets His grace shine upon us. Think about it, we (including myself) would all die in our Sins, if it were not for Gods amazing grace.  I never understood how God’s grace woks until I started a relationship with Hm. As Faith goes, the way we receive God’s grace and His perfect gift, Jesus, is by Faith. When we ask Jesus to come into our hearts, forgive our sins, save us from this world, clean out all ungodliness, and lead us in the way we should go, is by faith.

Jesus never told us, it would be easy, but He tells us its the only way. (John 3;3) Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” In this scripture, Jesus is talking to Nicodemus. Then Nicodemus asked,”How can someone be born if they are old?” “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!” (John 3;4-8) Jesus answererd, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the  kingdom of God unless they are born of water and Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to Spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sounds, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

Everyone must make a decision. Whether to except Christ or not. God tells us in His word not everyone will be saved. So I know not everyone that hears the good news will except it. As for me,when I felt God tugging on my heart I was ready to except Christ. For some, you have felt God several times, but are not willing to relinguish control of your life. You have made a decision also. Its a cold hard fact, but unless you turn your life over to God, you will stand before the Lord on judgement day and he will say “Depart from me, I never knew you”

As for us who has made a decision for Christ. The battle has just begun. This is when the enemy has too pick up his game. Think about it, if you are lost and part of this world. Then Satin has nothing to fear, you belong to him anyway. When we turn over a new leaf and start living for the Lord, the ruler of this world(Satin), will try to turn your life upside down. Jobs, money, friends, and families will all be tested. We must all remember God will never allow you to go through any trials in this life, that he has not already defeated. To God be the glory.
